Advantech ADAM-4017 Remote IO

The Advantech ADAM-4017 is a versatile 8-channel analog input module designed for industrial measurement and monitoring applications. It supports a variety of input ranges, including ±150 mV, ±500 mV, ±1 V, ±5 V, ±10 V, 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, and ±20 mA, allowing for flexible integration with different sensors. With a 16-bit resolution and a total sampling rate of 10 samples per second, it ensures accurate data acquisition. The module features 3,000 VDC optical isolation between the analog inputs and the system, providing robust protection against electrical surges and ground loops. Communication is facilitated via an RS-485 interface, supporting both Modbus RTU and ASCII protocols, which enables seamless integration into existing industrial networks. Operating within a temperature range of -10°C to 70°C and powered by an unregulated 10 to 30 VDC supply, the ADAM-4017 is well-suited for deployment in harsh industrial environments.
