Advantech ADAM-4015 Remote IO

The Advantech ADAM-4015 is a 6-channel remote I/O module designed for precise temperature measurement in industrial automation and building management systems. It supports various RTD sensor types, including Pt100, Pt1000, Balco 500, Ni 50, Ni 508, and BA1, accommodating a wide range of temperature monitoring applications. With 16-bit resolution and a sampling rate of 10 samples per second across all channels, the module ensures accurate and reliable data acquisition. The ADAM-4015 communicates via an RS-485 interface and supports both Modbus RTU and ASCII protocols, facilitating seamless integration into existing networks. Its robust design includes 3,000 VDC optical isolation to protect against electrical surges and ground loops, and it features a wire burnout detection function to identify broken sensor connections. Operating within a temperature range of -10°C to 70°C and powered by an unregulated 10 to 30 VDC supply, the ADAM-4015 is well-suited for deployment in harsh industrial environments. Its compact, DIN-rail mountable enclosure allows for easy installation in space-constrained settings.
