Our VSD Drives regulates the speed, rotational force and output torque of mechanical equipment. Effects of applying variable speed drives are in both productivity improvements and energy savings in pumps, fans, compressors and other equipment. Frequency (or hertz) is directly related to the motor’s speed (RPMs). In other words, the faster the frequency, the faster the RPMs go. If an application does not require an electric motor to run at full speed, the VFD can be used to ramp down the frequency and voltage to meet the requirements of the electric motor’s load. The biggest advantage that a VFD has is the ability to save the user money through its inherit nature to save energy by consuming only the power that’s needed.
